A fortified church: Saint Léger

Église Saint-Léger, listed on the historic monument registry, is a 12th century building around which the old village of Royat is organised.

The crypt dates to the 10th century with a 12th century nave and fortifications. This fully-restored church is notable for the rectangular shape of its apse.
